LIVING THROUGH A MEMORY, 2018
A SET OF FOUR DIGITAL IMAGES RECREATING POSES FROM FILM PICTURES TAKEN OF MY PARENTS. TO BE A REFLECTION OF THEM IS A GREAT HONOR AND I EMBRACE THE BEAUTY OF CREATING GENERATIONAL MEMORIES THROUGH THEIR EXISTENCE.

THIS SERIES OF BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHS ENCOMPASSES THE SPECTRUM OF DIFFERENT MENTAL AND PHYSICAL CHALLENGES FACED IN ONE’S LIFE. FACING OUR SHADOW SELVES LEAVES US TO CONFRONT EMOTIONS AND ACTIONS THAT CAN BE TRIGGERING. CHALLENGES SUCH AS CLAUSTROPHOBIA, BODY DYSMORPHIA, INSOMNIA, AND ACTS OF SELF-HARM ARE DEPICTED THROUGH THIS COLLECTION OF IMAGES. THIS SERIES ALLOWS VIEWERS TO KNOW THEY ARE NOT ALONE IN THEIR SILENT BATTLES.
